The Azorean archipelago
This is my first "big" post on my blog and I am happy to share with you pictures of a place that definitely is an underrated pearl in the Atlantic. The Azorean archipelago is composed by nine volcanic islands. It was not my first time in Azores and if I am not wrong, I think it´s been 18 years since I was there for the first time. The first time I went to the main island, São Miguel, but this time I went to Terceira Island. This island is very well known not only for the US Air Force base, but also because of the historical capital and also UNESCO World Heritage Site, Angra do Heroísmo. Enough talking (or writing) and enjoy the pictures that I shot.
O arquipélago dos Açores
Este é o meu primeiro grande "post" e estou muito contente por partilhar com vocês fotografias de um local que definitivamente é uma pérola do Atlântico subvalorizada. O arquipélago dos Açores é composto por nove ilhas vulcânicas. Não foi a minha primeira visita aos Açores, e se não estou em erro, acho que já passaram 18 anos desde a primeira vez que lá fui. A primeira vez fui à ilha principal, São Miguel, mas desta vez fui à ilha Terceira. Esta ilha é muito famosa não só pela base aérea ao serviço dos EUA, mas também devido à capital histórica Angra do Heroísmo, que também é Património Mundial da UNESCO.
